What is your muse’s Pokemon team?

this is heavily inspired by my own AU (that I didn’t publish anywhere but instead just kept on planning and do nothing about) than simply “oh hey that pokemon looks fitting with sanji”. I kind of try to imagine the SH in the Pokemon world here, and not -playing- Pokemon. So it’s not really what the team would be like with their fav Pokemon. But I tried to make it fitting with them anyway.
so in this list we got
Gallade: I’d imagine this was Sanji’s first Pokemon and been together with him since he was a Ralts. The two are just similiar. There is also this -genteman- vibe coming from Gallade. The modesty of Ralts line just fits Sanji. And plus, the WEDDING THEME in the mega form. I think Ralts would be in Kirlia stage when Sanji first meet Luffy in Baratie. Also, the trip to Kamabakka almost made Kirlia turned into a male Gardevoir, don’t ever ask.
Roserade: From point of fittingness first- elegance, but not weak. That’s how Roserade is. Imagine your typical waitress walking around taking your order with a Roselia on his side, but apparently then he kicks ass- that surprised Fullbody. Oh, wait… he was the sous-chef? Sorry, sorry. Well, I imagine a Budew was trying to get some grub back in the Orbit and little Sanji ended up chasing them all over the ship, only to get stuck on the same rock with the Budew because said Budew was hiding in the food sack Zeff got. They kind of bonded ever since.
Blaziken: Gift from Zeff, who obviously the master of High Jump Kick. Been training together since a Torchic, since the beginning of Baratie.
Bruxish: Gift from Iva.
Silvally: Mainly inspired by this piece. I don’t really know how they probably meet in this story idea but Sanji probably mainly just stare at Type:Null that he knows how it felt and they just bond, without ever having to tell each other’s stories. btw gladion and aether is pretty similiar to sanji and germa 66, no joke i and my friends made that joke when we first player SM pfff

Well, tbh because I am mainly basing it from the AU I made I guess that’s all. They are more focusing on pursuing their dreams and adventure. I might get an idea for the last Pokemon or change one or two in the list.
But I’d consider Hitmonlee and Swanna for Sanji too if I am mainly comparing him to Pokemon that fits him.
also, bonus:
Zekrom: Not a party member, but I’d imagine Sanji came in contact with Zekrom at some point. IF there’s ever a Pokemon series with OP characters as the cast, Sanji would come in contact with a Zekrom in a White movie, and Zoro with a Reshiram in a Black movie XDDDD
Zekrom is a symbol for idealism, and Reshiram is the symbol for truth. The two themes parallels each other in the Pokemon series. Sanji is often seen to be a man who seeks for ideals, meanwhile Zoro is the man who just get along with what is real.
I’d imagine if there’s ever the movie about it, in the Black movie Zoro would be leaving the crew at some point and the crew had to look for him and apparently he stumbled upon Reshiram at some point and in the White movie the opposite goes for Sanji. As later on in the finale Luffy takes on the remaining Zekrom/Reshiram with him and saves the day =v=
I’d imagine the rest of Mugiwara stumble into contact with other legendaries too. Chopper with Jirachi especially. Weak Trio with Lake Trio (Nami/Uxie, Chopper/Mespirt, Usopp/Azelf), Elder Trio with Beast Trio (Robin/Entei, Franky/Raikou, Brook/Suicune), the tale of Robin uncovering the secrets of Unown and Franky with the Regigigas chamber, Luffy and Chopper bonding with Latias and Latios duo, Manaphy taken care of by the entire SH crew but especially Luffy/Usopp/Chopper trio, Law dealing with the Pokemon that brings death itself- Yvetal and Luffy with Xerneas, and finally Luffy with Victini as he pursue to keep going and be the Pirate King.
I have so many headcanons starting from Nami with Castform, Usopp and Plusle and Minun duo, until Robin taking signs of danger from Absol. Ace with Mega Charizard Y and Sabo with Mega Charizard X. This tag is supposed to be about Sanji and his team, but I ended up babbling too much. Sorry not sorry.
